The user is safeguarded against the hazards of accessories jamming thanks to a Rotational Control clutch which minimizes torque without abrupt blockage in the event of overload or binding. Restart protection also ensures the machine cannot remain “on” in the event of a power cut or detached plug, and will not start up by itself if plugged into a live outlet. Model GBH 12 52 DV is the Vibration Control model which has additional rubber mountings and foam padding to absorb vibration travelling to the operator’s hands.
